My name is Vicki Harvey and I am so thrilled to be a designer for The Scrappy Gourmet! I am married to Bill and we have three children who are the focus of most of my scrapbook pages. We live just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've been scrapbooking since 2000 after my third child was born. I initially started scrapbooking to get all of my photos organized and into albums. It seemed like a good idea at the time! Now I take more photos than I'll ever be able to get into scrapbooks. I've given up the idea of ever being “caught up” and I just scrap the photos that inspire me. I just love watching my family look at the layouts I've made. My children absolutely light up when they see a layout about themselves. They also enjoy seeing themselves in print. I was blessed to be inducted into the 2005 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame and my work can be seen in several other issues of that magazine as well as Scrapbooks, Etc., Scrapbook Trends, and Memory Makers.
I've done design work for several manufacturers and I am currently a product designer for Mustard Moon. I am looking forward to sharing my work with you here at The Scrappy Gourmet!

Hi! My name is Melodee
Langworthy. I am so excited and humbled to be a Guest Designer for The Scrappy Gourmet!
I have been scrapping since about 2002. It did not take me long to realize how fun and rewarding scrapbooking is to our family. I have always been an avid photographer so when I added paper arts into the mix, there was no looking back. I am 43 years old and Married to Eldon, an awesome guy how knows how important this art it to me. We have one son, Drew who just turned 6 this summer and is the joy of our lives! We adopted Drew at birth and cannot begin to tell you how amazing our birth mother is! Such a cool young lady! We reside in Rockford , MI and enjoy all 4 seasons ...well, maybe 3 for sure, the dead of winter is quite questionable. In my style you will find a mix of classic clean lines and also a very eclectic mix in altered art. I love the range of graphic clean lines to shabby and all inked up. I currently design for several manufacturers and have enjoyed traveling this past year teaching scrapbook classes including traveling to Amsterdam to teach. I am honored to have had some of my work published in various magazines over the last few years including the covers of Legacy and Paper Art magazine. |
Hi! My name is Melissa Phillips. My husband and I live in Southern Nevada with our 3 year old little girl. We have been married for 7 ½ years. I love spending time with my family hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and traveling, and when I'm alone I enjoy reading, decorating, baking and of course shopping for MORE scrapbook supplies! I have always had a love for creating things for other people, and I enjoy the process of working with my hands to turn ordinary paper into something heartfelt. This has become even more important to me over the last year and I have purposefully made time for paper crafting in my life. My loves are card making and altering anything that sparks my interest. I love every minute of it and I love to share my creations with those I love. You can see my work in publications such as PaperArt, PaperCrafts, Cards Magazine, Paper Trends, Scrapbook and Cards Today, and Scrapbook Trends.
I feel so fortunate to have found a hobby that gives me so much fulfillment and to have such a sweet and supportive husband who makes it possible for me to further explore this love of mine. I try and squeeze in a minute everyday to play and create. It's a wonderful way to relax and express myself.
I look forward to sharing my ideas with you and am so excited to be a part of this amazing team of talented artists here at The Scrappy Gourmet. |

My name is Jessica Kelly. I have been a "dedicated" scrapbooker for almost 3 years now. I am single & have no children so its all about the paper & embellishments that are out there that makes me want to create. I enjoy making more of the home decor' & altering items more than scrapbook pages, but still love it all. I enjoy the creative process the most. I recently returned to my "roots" and moved back to a very small town in Oklahoma after living in Kansas City for over 20 years. I hoping that the "slower pace" will give me more time to do what I love most of all and that is to SCRAPBOOK!

Hi! My name is Greta Hammond and I am so excited to be apart of the Scrappy Gourmet! I live in northern Indiana with my husband and two children. They are the subjects of thousands of photographs and the main inspiration for my pages. I discovered this amazing hobby about six years ago after my son was born. I needed an outlet after deciding to be a stay-at-home mama and scrapbooking proved to be that and so much more. Scrapbooking has literally changed my life. It has given me an appreciation for the little details in life. It has challenged my love of photography to reach beyond the average picture. It has exposed a creativity that I never knew I had and unleashed a need to feed that craving. It has given me a way to record my thoughts and dig a little deeper. Scrapbooking has become my passion! It is unusual for a day to go by that I don't do something scrapbook related. I have been so fortunate to have been offered some amazing opportunities in this industry. I was thrilled to have been inducted into the Creating Keepsakes HOF in 2006. My work can also be seen in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc. Memory Makers and Scrapbook Trends. I also enjoy designing for a number of industry manufacturers. I am excited to share my ideas with all of you! |
Hi! I'm Amanda Oates; a scrapbook, an Army wife and a stay at home mom to our 1.5 year old daughter, Emily. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been married almost 5 years. I am originally from Florida, but live in North Carolina for now. I look forward to moving back to Florida someday. I started scrapbooking 4 years ago as an outlet to my everyday life and have been hooked ever since! Looking back through my old scrapbooks, I am truly amazed to see how far I have come. Some of my favorite days are when I am locked in my scrap room creating. My published work includes layouts in Scrapstreet ezine, Ready Set Create ezine, many layouts in the Basic Grey Gallery, and I have just received news of my first paper publication in a Dutch Scrapbooking Magazine. I currently design for my local scrapbook store and Rusty Pickle after being named one of the winners from Rusty Pickle's Amazing Race! Since becoming a Rusty Pickle Chef, so many doors have opened up for me. I recently designed my first class kits for Rusty Pickle that were displayed at CHA. That's where I was introduced to this wonderful site! This is all a dream come true for me! I look forward to sharing my work with you and growing from this experience! |
