Well, it's official. Sunday was the day that my husband, Kirk, and I became empty nesters. We took our only child, Lauren, to the University of Missouri and left her with her roommate (who also happens to be an only child!!!) in their tiny, old college dorm room. They could hardly wait for us to leave! Oh, what fun they will have! I'm so proud of her and wish this for her, but miss her terribly already. Those of you who have been through this know exactly what I'm talking about and those of you with little ones...well, enjoy the ride because it goes by at the speed of light! Really!
